“I bring home $150 a month watching trailers”

-

“I’m a full-time nurse, and going to the movies is my way to decompress after a long day. the number of people in the audience and the breakdown of gender, age and race. Sometimes I also do lobby checks, where I make sure the movie posters are displayed correctly and that the right advertiser is displayed on the popcorn buckets.

“Since I check multiple screens when I’m there, I usually spend between two and three hours at the theater. At home, I write a report, which takes 20 to 30 minutes. Market Force pays $10 to $20 for the first trailer check and $4 to $5 for additional screens, so the more I work, the more I make. And the lobby checks pay $15 for 15 minutes of work. I can earn up to $150 a month—money that goes toward the medical missions I organize for nurses and nursing students.” Tracey Long, 54, Henderson, NV
