Lucky lanterns

“My best friend’s birthday is in March and every year I give her a homemade seasonal gift,” says Melissa D’Agnese, FIRST senior editor. “This year’s token: a pair of sweet shamrock lanterns. To make each, I rinse out a recycled jar, affix 12 real (or faux!) shamrocks to the inside of the jar with craft glue, then pop in a battery-operated votive and tie on a green ribbon—so pretty!”
