First For Women

“I replaced my wardrobe—twice!”

-

Andrea Adams was happily chatting at a party when the conversation took a sour turn. “When are you due?” the acquaintance asked, thinking Andrea was pregnant. “I tried to keep it together and not cry,” she recalls, “but her words stung.”

Andrea had struggled with health issues for years, including type 2 diabetes, back pain and acid reflux.“I was exhausted all the time, my hair was falling out and my memory was gone,” she recalls. The final straw came when Andrea noticed a rash on her face and lips. Her doctor ran a blood test, which was positive for candida overgrowth. And although she was given an Rx, it didn’t work. “I realized I had to change my diet to turn around my health.”

To kill the candida, Andrea added turmeric to two meals a day and took probiotics. She also cut sugar and added green leafy vegetables, garlic and coconut oil to her plate.

“I felt better almost immediately, but then on day 5, I was achy and had intense cravings for pasta,” says Andrea. Knowing it was side effects of the “die-off” period, she took bentonite clay mixed with water at breakfast and dinner. “Within six days, the die-off symptoms were gone and I felt great.”

Over the next 12 months, Andrea shed

80 pounds and all her health concerns. “I feel amazing,” she cheers.

“I lost so much weight that I replaced my wardrobe twice.” Even better, her confidence grew tenfold. “I’m much happier and more at peace with myself!”
