De-grime an iron with this
Last time you ironed, gunk stuck on the iron got on your clothes. The cause? Built-up fabric softener residue or synthetic fibers that melted on the plate. To remove it, squirt a quartersized amount of non-gel toothpaste on a paper towel and rub it on the metal plate (make sure it’s cool). Wipe off excess with a clean cloth. The mildly abrasive toothpaste will buff away residue.
