First For Women

“I fought tiredness—and won!”

For years, Lora Brady, tried to push past her unrelenting fatigue and brain fog. Then she figured out the unexpected culprit—and the simple tweaks that restored her vitality

You’re always in bed, Mom,” Lora Brady’s young daughter said, disappointment in her voice. “She came running up the stairs to my bedroom after school,” recalls Lora. “I was lying in bed, half asleep as usual, and the way she said it made my heart ache. I realized that most days when she came home from school, I was in bed. In fact, I was in bed the entire day at least two days a week and sometimes on weekends too. The realization that I wasn’t the dynamic, energetic, engaging mom I’d always wanted to be was painful.

Barely getting by

“For more than 30 years, I’d been dealing with extreme fatigue, body aches, headaches, moodiness and brain fog. There were so many things I wanted to do, but it was all completely out of reach. Living with the daily frustration of not being able to do much of anything was like torture. I had been a teacher before I had kids, but I knew that there was no way I could hold down a job.

“I had no energy for friends and felt very alone. My children had a tired, often grouchy mom who wasn’t there for them as much as she wanted to be. My husband was running a small business and had to come home every day and pick up the slack. I felt extremely guilty that he had to do so much because I was able to contribute so little. I remember feeling like a shell of a person, like I was just existing rather than really living.

An answer, at last

“After many doctor visits for fatigue, I was finally diagnosed with sleep apnea. But using a CPAP machine didn’t seem to help much, if at all.

Over the years and after continually searching for answers in relation to my extreme fatigue, I started to realize that I had many symptoms of Lyme disease. It made sense because I remembered having at least one tick bite as a kid. I grew up on 2 acres in the country with dogs, cats, horses and a huge garden, so my childhood was spent outdoors. I remember my parents regularly removing ticks from our dogs, and one time it was from me!

“I started doing research online and I learned that Lyme and its coinfections release endotoxins into the body that build up over time,

slowly clogging up detox pathways. This causes a person with Lyme to become more and more toxic.

“I began to look into ways to detox. I didn’t have the energy to spend a lot of time shopping or following a complicated detox diet. I tried several natural therapies, including taking Epsom salts baths, avoiding toxins in food and cleaning products, dry brushing and supplementing with detoxifying glutathione and magnesium.

“Then I heard people raving about something called

Advanced TRS zeolite detox in the natural healing Facebook groups I joined. Taking the supplement, which removes heavy metals from the body, seemed like something I could do, so I ordered a bottle and started taking it daily.

“One of the great things about liquid zeolite is that it detoxes slowly, grabbing up toxins little by little so it doesn’t overwhelm the body. After about two weeks, I had more energy, my brain fog started to lift, I felt happier and I was sleeping more soundly.

“After six months, I was feeling so much better. Then a friend suggested I check out Lymestop, a local practice that treats Lyme disease naturally. I did, and underwent treatments, including magnetic stimulation to optimize my immune system to fight Lyme.

“Five years later, my family and I still take zeolite daily to combat the toxins we encounter, and our health has continued to improve.

“Today, I feel like a completely different person. Lyme disease is complex, but as I discovered, detox is a significant step toward healing. My experience inspired me to create a website (HealingWithNano.com) to help others detox and improve their health. It’s become my passion! I relate so much to people who are struggling like I did, and I’m trying to pay it forward. I encourage them to remember that there is hope and healing ahead, so keep trying and never give up!”
