Bookends Identified

When I read in your article on the A-20 Havoc (October 2019) that “Few remember it even existed, and it is all but unknown today,” I knew what you meant. I have been an aircraft and aviation history fan since I was a kid. Several years ago I bought a set of bronze airplane bookends at an antique store (see attachment), even though I did not know the type of aircraft they depicted. It took a little digging through several books to find out that they were the A-20 Havoc. Now your article has provided the story and great new and old photos.--Larry King
