Guitar Heaven
Anyone who has ever picked up an air guitar has dreamed of taking a few licks on Jimmy Page’s double-necked Gibson—the same one he used on “Stairway to Heaven” and other Led Zeppelin classics. Now Gibson is releasing the Jimmy Page 1969 EDS-1275 Doubleneck Collector’s Edition, which was designed in collaboration with the guitar legend, replicating the original version with a mahogany body and 12- and six-string necks. Only 50 editions of the guitar will be produced, and for the $50,000 price tag, it comes signed by Page himself with a Herco Flex pick the Zeppelin rock god used to personally strum each model.
