Its creator, Denver-based Antsy Labs, sought just $15,000 on Kickstarte­r and ended up raising $6.5 million. (We live in a world in need of distractio­n, clearly.) It comes in a range of eye-catching colors— midnight, sunset, retro— and is small enough to palm without notice throughout Monday’s three-hour team meeting. You can even attach it to a key chain. And then un-attach it. And attach it again. And . . .
