The Three Amigos

On June 19, the group known as The Three Amigos — Brooks Scheifer, Dr. Charlie Jenkins and stargazer Bill Fletcher — achieved some notoriety on the Little River Golf Course.

Brooks, born and raised in New Jersey, eagled Hole 6, Bill Fletcher kept his head down and shot a 39 with two birdies and Dr. Charlie just a swing behind Bill shot an easy, breezy 40 — and, you’d never know it, he is 80 years of age.

The Amigos, on this outing, limited themselves to a nine-hole round. Nice showing guys, congratulations.
