Redwood Coast Seniors has hot meals available for pick up to anyone over 60on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30a.m. to 12:30p.m. The Meals on Wheels program continues to deliver meals to homebound seniors. Please call 707-964-0443to schedule your meal or a bus ride.

Chief Steve Orsi reports the Fort Bragg Volunteer Fire Department responded to the following calls. Medical: July 6, 6:38p.m., 1000 block of SouthMain Street, provided care for a patient complaining of shortness of breath. Medical: July 6, 6:46p.m., 300 block of South Harold Street, assisted with care for an unresponsive patient.
Medical: July 7, 9:55p.m., Highway 1at Simpson Lane, assisted with care for an unresponsive patient.
Vegetation fire: July 11, 2:20p.m., North Highway 1, extinguished half an acre of vegetation fire with CAL Fire, Fort Bragg Fire Department and Mendocino Fire.
Vegetation fire: July 12, 2:19 p.m., 18000block of Old Coast Highway, extinguished the vegetation fire with Fort Bragg and CAL Fire engine.

Suspicious person: July 6, 12:12a.m.,200block of East Laurel Street, Christina Majorana,of Fort Bragg, was cited and released for trespassing. Suspicious vehicle: July 6, 12:53a.m., 100block of Corry Street, Megan Vanhorn, of Fort Bragg, was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine. Theft: July 6, 12:30p.m., 200 block of Harrison Street, a report of stolen tools from a truck bed. There’s no suspect at this time. Suspicious circumstances: July 6, 10:01p.m., Alder Street, a reporting party states that a female in a van is shining light into the reporting party’s vehicle. Both of the parties were counseled by the police.
Suspicious person: July 6, 11:20p.m., 100block of Boatyard Drive, an individualwas on the southeast corner of the Boatyard Shopping Center. The subject was contacted and advised by a police officer of trespassing. Suspicious vehicle: July 7, 12:11 a.m., 300block of Lincoln Street, a vehicle in the parking lot after hours. The individual was contacted and advised of park hours by a police officer.
Bike stop: July 7, 12:27a.m., 500block of Franklin Street, Devan Tomkins, of Fort Bragg, was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violation. Suspicious circumstance: July 7, 3:48a.m., 100block of Redwood Avenue, the reporting party states that her window was broken by an unknown subject. Suspicious vehicle: July 7, 8:17a.m., 300block of Cypress Street, a black car was in a ditch behind the location. Officers arrested Strawberry Gilligan, 72, of Mendocino, for two misdemeanor warrants held by MCSO. She was cited and released. Disturbance: July 7, 8:42a.m., 200block of McPherson Street, a reporting party calling to report an individual causing an disturbance at the location. Mental health was contacted and will handled it.
Suspicious circumstances: July 8, 5:01a.m., Minnesota Avenue, Ernest Salo of Fort Bragg was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia. Disturbance: July 8, 5:31 a.m., 200block of McPherson Street, a report of a male adult yelling outside. The subjectwas contacted and counseled by an officer.
Miscellaneous Crime: July 8, 1:51p.m., 700block of Main
Street, a subject accidentally flashed a passing bystander.

Vandalism: July 8, 4:28p.m., 600block of Main Street, a report of vandalism at location. Suspicious person: July 9, 12:30a.m., Franklin Street, a report of a male on a bicycle that appears to be chasing individuals. The subject was contacted by an officer.
Disturbance: July 9, 7:25a.m., 200block of McPherson Street, a report of a male screaming in the alley causing a disturbance. The subjectwas contacted, advised by an officer and left the area.
Suspicious person: July 9, 8:53 a.m., 500block of South Main Street, a reporting party calls to report a male, who had dark hair, wearing a red jacket, black hat and ripped jeans, going in and out of traffic. He was contacted by an officer and left the area. Theft: July 9, 12:22p.m., 100 block of Boatyard Drive, a report of theft of cash at the Harvest Market. The report was taken by an officer.
Shoplifter: July 9, 5:39p.m., 800block of Stewart Street, Liam Smith, 33, of Willits, was cited and released for possession of controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine.
Suspicious person: July 9, 10:36p.m., 400block of Main
Street, John Hill, 33, of Leggett, for probation violation. Suspicious person: July 10, 2:47a.m., Brian Keith Anderson, 41, Of Fort Braggwas cited and released for probation violation. Disturbance: July 10, 11:35a.m., 700block of Franklin Street, a malewas yelling and banging on the windows. He was upset that he didn’t receive his services and was advised to contact the business during its regular hours. Vandalism: July 10, 7:06p.m., 100block of Noyo Point Road, a report of vandalism to a vehicle. Suspicious circumstance:
July 11, 6:32a.m., Brandon Way, a report of a white adult male riding a bike waving a sword approaching reporting party. He was wearing a red banana and a ball cap. The subject was gone upon arrival.
Bike stop: July 12, 8:36p.m., 300Redwood Avenue, Ernest Salo, 35, of Fort Bragg was arrested, transported and booked into jail for alleged possession of meth for sale.
Sheriff’s Log

July 7: Kimberlee Danielle, 35, of Gualala, was arrested, transported and booked into jail for an alleged felony charge of failure to appear. Bond totaled $25,000; she remains in custody.
July 8: Mauricio Delgado Garcia, 23, of Fort Bragg, was arrested, transported and booked into jail for alleged misdemeanor charges of probation violation and violation of protective order. He was released on July 8.
July 8: Ernest Victor Salo, 35, of Fort Bragg, was arrested, transported and booked into jail for an alleged felony charge of possession of a controlled substance for sale and resisting a police order. He remains in custody.
July 8: David Charles Wooten, 48, of Fort Bragg, was arrested, transported and booked into jail for alleged felony charges of elder abuse and probation violation. He was released on July 9. July 11: Alvino Mariano Miranda, 37, was arrested, transported and booked into jail for two alleged misdemeanor charges of failure to appear after written promise and a felony charge for alleged assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm. Bond totaled $40,000; he remains in custody.
July 12: Andrew Thomas Maynard, 41, was arrested, transported and booked into jail for an alleged misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct with alcohol. He was released on July 12.
