MendocinoM­usic Festival goes virtual

The Mendocino Music Festival and Maestro Allan Pollack will gather festival musicians and directors for four virtual events streaming on the website through July 25. Virtual Opening Night was held on July 11. Violinist Lucia Micarelli, who first performed at the festival in 2018, is coming back at 7:30 p.m, July 16, for a virtual visit. The virtual version of the grand finale at 7:30 pm. on July 25. To register for free tickets, visit mendocinom­usic.org.

TRIFLES … a radio reading

The Mendocino Theatre Company, in associatio­n with local community radio station KZYX, presents a reading of Susan Glaspell’s brilliant earlyfemin­ist drama TRIFLES.

TRIFLES is directed by Lorry Lepaule and features Mark Friedrich, Dan Kozloff, Susan Maeder, Scott Menzies, and Laura Pinyuh, with narration by Pamela W. Allen and sound design by Ken Krauss. The play will be broadcast on KZYX.org on Thursday, July 16 at 7 p.m.

Highlight Gallery limited opening

Highlight Gallery has re- opened with limited days and hours; now open Fridays through Mondays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and by appointmen­t Tuesdays through Thursdays.
