Covid Vaccines, Boosters, and Testing

Mendocino Coast Clinics are doing free drivethrou­gh COVID vaccines every Tuesday from 3:00 to 6:00 pm in the white tent at the back of the clinic at 205 South Street in Fort Bragg. If you would like a booster, please call 707-964-1251 to make an appointmen­t. Please bring your vaccine card with you for your booster or second dose so it can be updated for you.

COVID vaccines are now available for children ages 5 and up, and Mendocino Coast Clinics is partnering with the local schools to vaccinate children. If you have not heard from your child’s school, please call 707964-1251 to make an appointmen­t to get your child vaccinated.

COVID testing continues at the white tent at 205 South Street every Wednesday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, and every Thursday from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. Call 707-964-1251 to schedule your test.

The Adventist Health team has Moderna and the J&J vaccines all available through the Primary Care team located at 721 River Dr., Suite A in Fort Bragg. To make an appointmen­t, call the Adventist Health offices at 707-961-4631 and press option 3 to set a time and date available to receive yours.

Christmas Tree Lighting and Parade

The annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Parade will be held on December 4, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in downtown Fort Bragg. Tree lighting begins at 6 pm in front of the Guest House Museum with the Holiday Lights Parade to follow at 6:30 p.m. The parade route this year is West Pine St. to Franklin St. to Oak St. to Main St. to West Pine St. For more informatio­n, visit city.fortbragg.com.

Volunteers Needed for Light Parade

The Fort Bragg Police Department is looking for volunteers to assist with traffic control during the upcoming Holiday Lights Parade on December 4.

Elder Climate Action Network

Mendocino Community Library Hours

The Mendocino Community Library is now open on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for in-person visits, browsing, and check out. Masks are required inside the library. Stop by to peruse the latest books, audiobooks, and DVDs.

The library is located on the corner of Little Lake Rd. and William St., across from the Art Center.
