At­lanta Pride and Out On Film present a screen­ing of “Up­stairs In­ferno.” On June 24, 1973, a gay bar in New Or­leans called the Up Stairs Lounge was de­lib­er­ately set on fire, re­sult­ing in the largest gay mass mur­der in U.S. his­tory. This doc­u­men­tary, di­rected by Robert Cam­ina and nar­rated by Christo­pher Rice, ex­am­ines the cir­cum­stances lead­ing up to it and talks to some of the sur­vivors. 7 p.m. The event is free but do­na­tions are ac­cepted.
