Georgia Equality releases second round of endorsemen­ts

A Georgia State study released last year showed that over 950, or 28.2 percent, of the 3,374 homeless and runaway youth surveyed in the metro Atlanta area self-identify as LGBT.

Invest Atlanta is to report to the council’s Finance/Executive Committee within 60 days of the issuance of bond funding to detail how the funding will be appropriat­ed.

LGBT advocacy organizati­on Georgia Equality on Oct. 5 released its second round of endorsed candidates for the upcoming November 2017 elections. In this round, the group endorsed candidates for state House and Senate special elections, as well as an additional endorsemen­t in the City of Clarkston.
