The Sanibel Thriller combines speed and sightseeing for a new kind of tour

They call it the Sanibel Thriller for a reason. This high-speed tour boat—the only one of its kind on the island—adds an adrenaline rush to the sightseeing experience. Big and powerful, the supercatamaran has the appearance of a cigarette-style racing boat as it plies the waters around Sanibel and Captiva islands. But don’t expect a rough or bumpy experience; its hull allows it to cut through the water, delivering a nice smooth ride.

The 55-foot watercraft is powered by twin 440 horsepower engines and holds up to 43 passengers. You’ll cruise the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and Pine Island Sound as you circumnavigate Southwest Florida’s barrier islands. Guests enjoy a narrated tour that points out all the sights, such as the historic Sanibel Lighthouse, and wildlife, from frolicking dolphins to exotic waterfowl.
