We invite you to join us in our environmental program as we commit to making our planet a better place. We welcome your feedback and suggestions, either in person or on the electronic guest survey that you will receive upon checkout.

WHAT ARE WE DOING?

• We recycle glass, aluminum, plastic, newspaper, cardboard and phone books. • We also recycle toner cartridges, batteries, and fluorescent and compact bulbs. • We use 30% post-consumer content and 30% recycled copy paper.

• Our toilet tissue is chlorine-free and is made of 100% recycled fiber.

• Our facial tissue is 100% recycled, post-consumer paper and is also chlorine-free. • We have low-flow shower heads, faucets and toilets.

• We offer bicycles for your sightseeing and recreational enjoyment.

• We encourage our staff members to carpool.

• We use both sides of printer paper, or we cut it up and use it for notepads.

• Our landscaping focuses on native plants for 75% of our plantings.

• We utilize environmentally safe cleaning chemicals.

• Our boardwalk is made of recycled plastic.

• We offer a linen-change and towel-reuse program.

• We use energy-efficient lighting indoors and outdoors.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

• Use the recycling containers that are located under the bathroom vanity. Please place any glass,

plastic or metal containers in these cans and your housekeeper will remove them daily. • Additional containers are located on each floor for recyclable items, newspapers and trash. • When using your air conditioner, please keep doors and windows closed. When you leave

your unit, please adjust your thermostat to a higher temperature.

• Turn off lights when leaving your unit.
