SNAKE SCARE!

Last week, my Girl Scout troop went on a nature hike where we got to see all the different birds and plants in our area. I love nature, so I kept my eyes peeled trying to be the first one to spot new things. As I was walking, I looked down and couldn’t believe my eyes. “SNAKE, SNAKE!” I shouted. Except when our leader came running over, she announced that it wasn’t a snake at all — it was just an old rope someone left on the ground! I felt so silly, but luckily, all of my friends just laughed it off with me. Maybe I’ll see a real snake on our next nature walk!
