IF THE power of prayer can cure BEN AFFLECK, 46, of his drinking, the rehabbing Batman star’s gonna be one sober dude! Just days ago, Ben was spied going to a Brentwood church with estranged wife JENNIFER GARNER and their kids — with his latest galpal, whiskey-loving Playboy hottie SHAUNA SEXTON, 22, nowhere in sight. A source says the five looked like “one happy family.”
Now, blabbermouths are buzzing prayerpower and Jen’s care could reunite the couple, who split three years ago, but have yet to finalize their divorce. In late August, Jen,
46, drove Ben to rehab after showing up on his doorstep with a Bible in hand. Then, as GLOBE recently reported, Jen started urging their kids — VIOLET, 12, SERAPHINA, 9, and SAMUEL, 6 — to “pray for Daddy,” and attended services with his mom.
Sadly, the guzzling hunk, who previously was a card shark banned from Vegas casinos because he was so skilled, fell off the wagon following two rehab stints.
But a source says this time is “different” because he’s taking it “more seriously.” Ben “is really trying very hard to get better,” dishes the snitch. “He doesn’t want his kids to have to go through this again.”
