BRAD PITT has two Academy Awards
under his belt, but he squeaked his way
through his breakout role in Thelma
& Louise!
Before landing the role of charming
cowboy drifter JD, Pitt had only
worked as an extra — and his nerves
showed in his voice!
Despite that, it was actress Geena
Davis who apparently chose Brad, saying:
“The blond one … hello!”
“I think they were desperate, to tell
you the truth,” says Brad. “They were
already shooting, because a week later, I
was on set working.
“I’m more aware of how high my voice
is in it. My ass must have been clenched
so tight, being the first one.”
