Monaco ruler’s secret police silence all critics including his wife
PRINCE Albert of Monaco is a virtual tyrant backed by a sprawling, gestapo-like police force that will stop at nothing to protect him, sources say, even if it means tossing members of his family behind bars!
Palace insiders claim the tiny European seaside principality known as a playground for the international jet set is actually a police state with an Orwellian spy system of more than 1,000 video cameras covering every move made in its tiny eighth-of-a-square-mile borders!
And the feared Sûreté Publique de Monaco, or Monaco public security force, which includes its own General Intelligence Division goon squad, boasts the highest ratio of police officers to residents — 515 to 38,000 — in the entire world!
A journalist with Monaco contacts notes even the slightest criticism of the crown is taboo so “everyone who works there walks on eggshells. They are terrified that Albert’s goons will make an example out of them if they offend the prince.”
The palace source insists, “Albert’s police force is an absolute terror. There are whispers of secret arrests that occur only by night and a massive network of informants who trade on rumor and deceit.”
Albert’s ironfisted control and cruel repression became evident in his rough-handed dealing with his tragic wife, Princess Charlene, sources say. The 45-year-old blond former Olympic backstroker fled the palace prior to their 2011 nuptials only to be hauled back by Albert’s thugs and made to weep through her own wedding — after his agents seized her passports and prevented the beauty from fleeing the country.
Ten years later, the secret police again intervened when the mom of eight-year-old twins Gabriella and Jacques kicked up a fuss over her hubby’s alleged romantic double dealings, insiders dish. Albert, 65, already supports two love children and there are claims of more.
After Charlene split for her native South Africa following a claim by a Brazilian beauty Albert was the dad of her teenage daughter, which he denies, the runaway princess was locked away for months in a secret medical facility in her native land and again at a Swiss mental clinic.
While in Switzerland, sources tattle Charlene underwent memory-erasing shock treatments — while being blackmailed with the possibility of never again seeing the twins she shares with Albert.
Albert’s closest pals are also not safe from the police’s crushing influence, informants squeal.
After a mysterious website called Les Dossiers du Rocher, or The Rock Files, began publishing evidence of a $1 billion government corruption scandal in 2021, Albert’s personal wealth manager, chief of staff, attorney and the president of Monaco’s Supreme Court all saw their homes raided by his storm troopers.
Two have since resigned and a third has been banished from the prince’s inner circle. Word is Interpol is nipping at
the heels of Princess Grace’s only son.
“Albert would love to have you believe that justice and the rule of law guide his nation, but the truth is far darker,” says the palace insider.
“The police are beholden to his whims alone, as well as the overarching mission of guarding the crown’s rule.
“They exist to stifle dissent as well as any threat, perceived or real, that challenges his family’s eight-centurylong run in power.”
