CHRISTINA APPLEGATE BLACKOUT NIGHTMARE

Crippling MS devastates sitcom beauty

-

BELOVED Married with Children beauty Christina Applegate admits she “lives kind of in hell” as she bravely battles incurable multiple sclerosis — and a medical expert warns the former sitcom stunner will likely become crippled by the cruel disease!

Three years after receiving her heartbreaking diagnosis, 52-year-old Christina confides the autoimmune condition is a living nightmare that’s turned her into a virtual shut-in!

The outspoken star, best known for playing blond bombshell Kelly Bundy on the outrageous FOX sitcom, reveals, “I’m not out a lot.”

MS affects the central nervous system and can cause fatigue, numbness, pain, memory problems — and even blindness or paralysis.

Christina, who currently relies on a cane, received a standing ovation during her emotional appearance at the Emmy Awards earlier this year.

But the ailing actress shares she “blacked out” and doesn’t know what she uttered onstage!

“People said, ‘Oh, you were so funny,’ and I’m like, ‘I don’t even know what I said. I don’t know what I was doing,’ ” shares the breast cancer survivor.

The Dead to Me star recently launched the MS-themed podcast MeSsy with The Sopranos’ Jamie-Lynn Sigler, 42, who’s lived with the disturbing, incurable genetic disorder for 22 years!

Longevity expert Dr. Gabe Mirkin — who has not treated Applegate or Sigler — tells GLOBE, “Multiple sclerosis is a horrible, horrible disease where your own immune system turns on itself and begins attacking you!

“You become weaker and weaker and weaker.

“Your nerves can’t send messages to your muscles, so you begin stumbling, falling, and eventually you’re confined to a wheelchair and then you are bedridden.”

Despite the potential for a grim death, Christina hasn’t lost her sharp sense of humor.

During her ovation at the Emmys — as she leaned on Black-ish alum Anthony Anderson for support — she cheekily told the crowd, “You’re totally shaming me with disability by standing up. It’s fine.”

The limitations imposed by MS have also caused Christina to hint at retirement.

Prior to the 2023 SAG Awards, she explained, “It’s my last awards show as an
