VAMPIRE POLITICIAN BLED OLD LADY DRY
PREDATORY Orlando politician Regina Hill drained a 96-year-old’s bank account — and went on a $100,000 spending spree with her constituent’s cash, authorities say.
According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), the Democratic city commissioner exploited Annie Mae Curtis — a vulnerable senior living in her district — from April 2021 to March 2024 by fraudulently gaining power of attorney to siphon off the old gal’s funds.
Haughty Hill, 63, moved into one of the victim’s empty properties and spent $15,400 in ill-gotten loot on renovations and also used some of the dirty dough to buy herself a home, which was co-signed to Curtis without her knowledge, investigators charge.
The spendthrift also splashed out on a luxury hotel stay, a facelift, dental surgery, IV vitamin infusions and expensive perfumes!
According to a court filing, the greedy gal’s mark has a cognitive disability and age-related infirmities.
FDLE says their 13-month investigation began after an ex-aide for the oldster contacted cops.
The former U.S. Navy nurse — who took office in 2013 — now faces seven felony charges, including elder exploitation, identity fraud and mortgage fraud. She’s pleaded not guilty and was freed after posting $40,000 bond.
After Hill was sprung, the suspect was ordered by a judge to stay away from Curtis — despite swearing she “loved and cared for” the woman like she was her own family.
