Faces California sentence and new trial on tossed New York charges
DISGRACED movie mogul Harvey Weinstein’s 2020 rape conviction was overturned in the Big Apple — but insiders squeal the portly pariah’s disgusted family is still determined to shun the sex creep until his dying day!
A New York appeals court recently ruled Weinstein, 72, deserves a new trial because now retired judge James Burke made an “egregious” error by allowing three women whose alleged assaults were uncharged in the case to testify against him.
Despite the victory, tipsters say Eve Chilton and Georgina Chapman — the former Miramax hotshot’s ex-wives — and his adult children with Eve — daughters Remy, Emma and Ruth — have effectively disowned the dirtbag!
The ex-producer remains on the hook for a 16-year sentence in California after being found guilty of raping an actress in 2013 — in addition to being convicted in the court of public opinion after being accused of sexual misconduct by more than 100 women, including stars Ashley Judd, Rosanna Arquette and Cara Delevingne!
Legal insiders suspect the sickly monster will never get out of prison alive since he’ll be sent to the West Coast to serve that sentence once New York is finally done with him. But Weinstein isn’t likely to be extradited until New York decides if it wants to try him again, a process that could take months.
Meanwhile, horrid Harvey’s health has taken a dramatic turn for the worse and he’s undergoing medical tests at Bellevue Hospital’s prison ward — and his lawyers liken his body to a battered car with 100,000 miles on the clock.
“He might as well be dead in his ex-wives’ eyes,” says a source. “Eve and Georgina want nothing to do with Harvey.”

— daughter India, 13, and son Dashiell, 11 — out of the spotlight. And the source squeals both the fashion designer and Chilton will “never forgive” Weinstein for darkening their lives — and those of their children — with his shameful scandal!
“It’s been absolute hell. The psychological impact has been crippling. There are times they don’t even want to leave the house,” the spy whispers.
“His grown daughters are disgusted and ashamed that he’s their father. There’s been no contact for years.”
The hefty Hollywood horndog was smacked with 23 years in the clink in New York after facing trial for forcible oral sex with a production assistant in 2006 and sexually assaulting an aspiring actress in 2013.
Following his dual conviction, Chilton — who divorced Weinstein in 2004 — and Chapman — who kicked him to the curb in October 2017 — declined to give statements of support at his sentencing. The exes also convinced a judge to freeze nearly $6 million of his assets, a move sources say initially threw a monkey wrench into his bid for an appeal!
Chapman admits being “so humiliated and so broken” after the perv’s behavior was exposed. She adds, “I have moments when I just cry for my children.”
Insiders snitch Weinstein — who insists he’s innocent — will be transferred from his Empire State prison to serve out his California sentence in a West Coast facility. Yet moles believe the ailing sicko — who has complained of cardiac problems, diabetes, sleep apnea and rotting teeth — is likely to die behind bars because a 1996 California law allows uncharged witnesses to testify against suspects — eliminating that angle for a potential appeal.
Still, the source spills, “There’s a feeling that the family will never be free of the shame and disgust.
“They will always live with this dark cloud over them because they were once associated with the infamous Harvey Weinstein.”
