THE MANHATTAN-BORN ACCESSORIES BRAND EDIE PAR ER DEBUTS ITS FIRST FLAGSHIP STORE.
Here’s your one-stop guide to the city’s hottest restaurants, shows, shopping, and more. The latest: New York’s grooviest new lounge; custom clutches at Edie Parker; the stunning new Want Apothecary in the Nomad hotel; and the best way to get fighting fit this spring.
Synonymous with the uptown girl, the Lenox Hill neighborhood was the natural choice for the location of Edie Parker’s first flagship store. The recently opened boutique houses the vintageinspired brand’s famous bespoke clutches and accessories, and a new customization program allows clients to choose the color and details of both sides of their clutch. Designed in collaboration with Studio Muretto, the store’s residential vibe is especially appropriate in light of the brand’s first foray into furniture; one standout piece is the custom acrylic color-block table in pearlescent and brass, available for special order. 781 Madison Ave., 646-290-7293; edieparker.com
