Scene… Luca Badetti, a former intern at The Advocate and director of community life at L’Arche in Chicago, has published a new book titled “I Believe in You,” a compilation of stories about how people with disabilities widen our understanding of ourselves and God. The 160 L’Arche communities across the globe provide a place for people with and without intellectual disabilities to live and work together as peers in a spirit of simplicity. L’Arche, French for “the ark,” refers to Noah’s Ark.
