Scene… Greenwich residents Judge Judy Sheindlin and Judge Jerry Sheindlin were seen dining at Pasta Vera on Greenwich Avenue on May 28. America’s favorite judge, she was her usual stylish self, dressed in a cobalt blue velvet fedora and matching blazer.

Out there… The Greenwich Internatio­nal Film Festival held its Changemake­r Gala honoring “Hamilton” star Lin-Manuel Miranda on May 25 at l’Escale at the Delamar in Greenwich. Jimmy Fallon, host of NBC’s “Tonight Show,” accepted the Changemake­r Award on behalf of his friend (who was absent for health-related reasons) with a sentimenta­l speech and impromptu performanc­e of “Wild Thing.” Jenna Bush Hager, cohost of “Today with Hoda & Jenna,” served as emcee at the event, which also featured a Q&A with Luis Miranda Jr., LinManuel’s father, and “Hamilton” actress Renée Elise Goldsberry, as well as performanc­es by Broadway stars Jessica Darrow and Warren Egypt Franklin and musical entertainm­ent by MOJO. The event culminated with an after-party on the terrace with music by DJ April Larkin.

Scene… Hockey great Mark Messier, who lives in Greenwich, was seen dining at Tony’s at the J House last week.

Out there… The Greenwich Library is hosting art historian Page Knox, a Greenwich resident, for a lecture on “The Life and Work of Yayoi Kusama”at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 7. Knox, an adjunct professor and art history lecturer at Columbia University, will lead an indepth discussion of paintings, sculptures, infinity rooms and more of the famed artist in the Marx Family Black Box Theater. Scene… Actor Richard Gere, who lives in North Salem, N.Y., was seen over the Memorial Day weekend at Pastabilit­ies in Armory Square in Syracuse, N.Y., celebratin­g the 100th birthday of his father, Homer Gere. Gere is a 1967 graduate of North Syracuse High School in North Syracuse, where his dad, a former insurance salesman and member of North Syracuse Volunteer Fire Department, still lives.

Out there… The 2022 Old Greenwich Festival takes place at Binney Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 11. The family event will feature a Marketplac­e with farm fresh honey, jewelry, handbags and more; food trucks including DWC (donuts, waffles and churros), Flavor Bomb and Dominic, the Singing Ice Cream Man; a Kids Korner featuring a bungee run, obstacle courses, GaGa Pit, a giraffe bounce house, face painting, balloon artist, clowns, dancing and games; music with DJ Rick; and youth performanc­es by Greenwich A Cappella, Allegra Dance, and students of the Greenwich Performing Arts Studio.
