Apple iPhones arrive Friday

Apple Stores in Connecticut and nationally received their initial stock of the newest iPhone XS and XS Max, with larger screens priced starting at $1,000 and Apple having taken preorders of devices since Sept. 14. Apple has also begun selling its newest Series 4 smartwatch priced starting at $400 that has a screen 30 percent larger than previous versions, along with an electrocardiogram function to measure heart rate.
