Suzette Kraus began her professional career in fashion, working in buying, retail management, sales, product development and merchandising roles. “I absolutely feel that my experience helped prepare me for my real estate career, not only in sales and marketing, but also on the creative front, helping sellers to stage their home or helping buyers to envision potential in a house,” she said.
In 2001, she refocused her career on real estate and today is licensed in both New York and Connecticut. “My own personal home search many years ago led me to realize that there is a need for agents who listen to their clients’ needs and has their best interests at heart,” she said. “That’s me. The most fulfilling thing is to see my clients close on a house and get to their new beginnings, whether it takes a weekend or three years.”
As a Realtor with William Raveis Real Estate’s Metalios Group, she works with clients across Fairfield County, with a focus in Stamford and Greenwich. “Today, it seems that buyers aren’t tied to one town, county or State, and would prefer to work with one agent, if possible, especially if there is trust and rapport already in place,” Kraus said. “In fact, I’ve had several clients close on houses in Westchester but started with me in Greenwich, and vice versa.”
