Realtor is relentless when finding solutions for clients
Tom Flynn works as a Realtor in both Connecticut and New York. A sales associate with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Flynn is affiliated with the brokerage’s offices in Greenwich and Rye, New York. He works with clients — buyers, sellers and investors — across Greenwich and in nearby Stamford, Darien, Westport, Norwalk, Fairfield and New Canaan. He’s well versed in the nuances of Greenwich’s neighborhoods, private associations and hamlets.
Flynn’s client base is diverse, including downsizers and empty nesters, first-time buyers, investors and renters.
“Greenwich has become a stronger sellers’ market, especially with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and the flight of New York City residents to the suburbs,” Flynn said. “There has been significant interest since March in summer rentals, longterm rentals and home sales.”
Flynn built his real estate business following an accomplished career in advertising, sales and marketing. He was employed by New York City ad firms; large, international publishing companies; digital media organizations, and smaller start-ups. As a salesperson, he worked in national accounts, key accountants, and as a sales manager. In another role, he served as advertising director, and later managed ad sales and operational teams.
Flynn built his reputation and relationships on honesty, creativity and achieving the goals assigned to him. These are traits he brings to his work in real estate.
“I really enjoy what I do, because I like interacting with new people, in new venues,” Flynn said. “I have also been trained and practiced some classic direct marketing techniques in my prior life. … I can be relentless when I set up personal objectives; so, if it’s selling a home in a difficult market or finding just the right home to purchase for the family, I won’t give up.”
Flynn maintains memberships with the Greenwich MLS (GMLS), SmartMLS and OneKey MLS. In his free time, he enjoys Fairfield County’s amenities, including outdoor destinations. “I enjoy cycling, squash and water sports whenever I can,” he said. “I am a lifelong Mets and Jets fan, but root for the Yankees and New York Giants, as well — unless they are playing one another.”
