Realtor builds on background in finance and health care
With the exception of time away for college and some travel across the country and abroad, Trish Clark has lived in Greenwich her entire life. She grew up in Riverside, and as a young adult shared an apartment in downtown Greenwich.
The first home she purchased was in Glenville, and today, she lives with her husband and three children in Old Greenwich.
“Having lived all over town, I have unique knowledge of the charm each section has to offer,” Clark said.
Clark studied business and finance at Boston University, and went on to earn her Master of Science degree in physical therapy at New York Medical College. She spent two decades working in health care, which prepared her in many ways for her more recent work in real estate. Currently, she’s an agent with the Old Greenwich office of Coldwell Banker Realty.
“My 20 years in health care helped me to understand the complexities of family dynamics and human emotions,” Clark said. “People who are buying and selling real estate are not always in a happy place. When a home goes on the market after the death of an elderly parent, or after a divorce, the sellers are oftentimes dealing with emotional baggage. Keeping the client focused on the task at hand, while also providing support, advice and a listening ear can help them gracefully navigate through difficult times.”
Clark maintains three publicfacing portals — through the Coldwell Banker site, her branded Facebook page and Instagram. “I use Facebook not only to promote clients’ listings, but to provide valuable information about Greenwich, and interesting things going on around town,” she said.
Clark’s children are attending public schools in Greenwich, so she remains active in the ParentTeacher Associations (PTAs) at two schools.
She’s a parishioner and volunteer at St. Catherine of Siena Church. She also volunteers for the Girl Scouts and is an active member of the Riverside Yacht Club.
