Journalists bitter about Trump

-

This is an open opinion to Ken Dixon, Colin McEnroe, Dan Haar, Fred McKinney, John Breunig, Jacqueline Smith, Stacy Graham-Hunt, Jack Cavanaugh, Chris (RINO) Shays and some of the editorial staff at Hearst.

For the past four years some of you so-called journalists have taken every opportunity in your columns to bash, demean and denigrate President Donald Trump in every way imaginable. In a seemingly coordinated endless attack he’s been called a Nazi and compared to Hitler and Mussolini. Some of you have said he’s a racist, vulgar, slime and xenophobic. He’s been called a fool, a jerk, awomanizer and not fit to serve as president. It’s been written that he hates Black people, gay people, Muslims, Latinos and Mexicans. One of you wants to tear his name off of a downtown Stamford building because I guess it repulses you to drive by and see it. Some have outright said he is responsible for the death of 220,000 Americans because he mishandled COVID-19 and that our economy is in shambles because of his failed economic policies. Some of your columns blame him for millions of people that are unemployed and on welfare. The liberal media said that he welcomes the support of the KKK and that leaders of nations around the world laugh at him. It’s been written by some in the drive-by media that he would lead us into a nuclear war. Again, this has been nothing but lies, lies, lies.

In my opinion, many of your columns are filled with outright lies and half-truths because you have an ongoing hate and bitterness for the president for having won the 2016 election. Not only did the drive-by media support the liberal impeachment process, they reveled in it. Many of you don’t report the news, you create it; and fake news it is.

Instead of focusing on his accomplishments, and there are many, the media micro-edits every word President Trump speaks and twists and distorts them to fit their false narrative. The media fact-checks every word he says when they should be fact-checking themselves. It’s an endless campaign to make him look like a buffoon with editorials that brainwash readers in an effort to fit their agenda. You call yourselves journalists? Some of you couldn’t write your own obituary without blaming your death on President Trump.

Then, when the media thought that their fake news wasn’t enough to win the election, your liberal followers stole it at the ballot box. So after your gloating ends, what are you going to do now? You may as well close your laptops and call it a day. After all, you can’t say anything negative about Joe Biden and company because you helped him get elected. He’s your president now.

As the saying goes, be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.

I’ll see you in four years when Trump runs again. Longtime Stamford resident Bob Ferullo resides in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.
