GREENWICH — Officers responded to the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Old Greenwich on Jan. 4 on a report of a non-paying customer, according to the arrest report.

A woman had been told to vacate a room there for not paying her bill and she was still on the premises, police said. Elizabeth Quinn, 55, Washington Blvd., Stamford, was charged with criminal trespass. She was released without bail.

A Stamford woman was charged with having an open container of alcohol in her car in the presence of four individual­s under the age of 21 on Friday evening, according to her arrest report.

Officers stopped the vehicle on Byram Terrace Drive in the Pemberwick section of Greenwich, police said. Marissa Velez, 21, of East Main Street, Stamford, was charged with permitting minors to possess alcohol, a misdemeano­r. She was released without bail.

Officers responded to a liquor store in the Riverside section of town Saturday night on a report of a shoplifter, the arrest report stated.

Police said Sonya Sewell, 52, of High Ridge Road, Stamford, attempted to put two bottles in her jacket and leave the store. She was arrested on a charge of sixth-degree larceny and released without bail.

Jessica Gruss, 36, of Skyridge Road, Greenwich, was charged with driving while intoxicate­d and evading responsibi­lity Jan. 6, according to police.

She was arrested on a warrant issued for a collision that had taken place on Nov. 10 on North Street, according to the arrest report. Bail was set at $500.
