Real estate agent honored by Coldwell Banker
Jacqueline Zoeller, a real estate agent affiliated with Coldwell Banker Realty in Greenwich, has been named to the Coldwell Banker 30 Under 30 list for 2021.
Each year, Coldwell Banker recognizes 30 young professionals under the age of 30 who demonstrate success in sales, philanthropy and leadership. Applicants may be sales associates, managers, brokers, owners or other key staff members.
The Coldwell Banker 30 Under 30 honorees were chosen from the brand’s network of over 96,000 affiliated sales professionals in 2,900 offices across 40 countries and territories. The 30 Under 30 list honors the heritage of the founders, Colbert Coldwell and Arthur Banker, who started the company at ages 24 and 28, respectively.
A Connecticut licensed real estate agent, Zoeller is a member of the Drew Peterson Team at Coldwell Banker Realty and has been recognized as a top producer internationally, according to Coldwell Banker.
Her expertise is in listing and selling condominiums and single-family homes in the greater Fairfield County area. She is also an expert when it comes to buyers, especially first-time home buyers.
Also, Zoeller enjoys volunteering at a local animal shelter, working out and relaxing with friends and family.
Greenwich student elected to Phi Beta Kappa
Madeleine Howe, of Greenwich, was recently elected to the Epsilon Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa at Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y.
Phi Beta Kappa, which established a chapter at Hamilton in 1870, is the oldest and most prestigious honor society in the country. Students are elected to membership in recognition of their exceptional academic achievement in fulfilling the goals and purposes of the college.
Howe, a senior majoring in psychology, is a graduate of Greenwich Academy.
Greenwich educator joins the team at The Village
Duncan Edwards of Greenwich, a longtime leader in education, is the new head of social impact at The Village, Stamford’s new work/play hub.
Edwards got his start at Brunswick in 1977 and served as head of school from 1987 to 2001 before working as executive director of Stamford’s Waterside School until his year. Edwards, his father and both of his sons attended Brunswick.
He will now play a key role in driving forward The Village’s mission to bridge community, impact and philanthropy. Its founder Brent Montgomery and his wife, Courtney, who is village developer, are committed to bridging that connection, according to a statement from The Village.
“My working life has been blessed by two chapters of both purpose and reward — 24 years at Brunswick and 18 similar in import and impact at Waterside,” Edwards said in a statement. “This new opportunity offers much of the same. Good people, good hearts with only the selfless want to do great and lasting good — in many ways, a small slice of perfect in a decidedly imperfect world.
In this new position, Edwards will spearhead programming and partnerships to deepen is roots in the community and give back, the statement said. Collaborations with education will be at the forefront, similar to that of the recently announced initiative with Waterside School — a partnership that offers hands-on immersions, scholarship support, internships and more for the students.
In addition, Edwards will oversee the launch of a social impact division for Wheelhouse, Montgomery’s multivertical media, marketing and investment business platform headquartered at The Village. This new arm will also support Wheelhouse 360 —which directly invests in and incubates high-growth technology and consumer-facing businesses.
“The Village and Wheelhouse are uniquely positioned to not just give but to actually transform lives and to be able to do so in a most real and meaningful fashion,” Edwards said.
Waterside, an independent school founded on the belief that every child is owed the opportunity for a proper education, serves children and families regardless of limitations in income or circumstance.
“In working closely with Duncan to establish our partnership with Waterside, it became clear that if we wanted to build a 1 of 1 place in The Village and company in Wheelhouse, we needed someone who they broke the mold after, and in Duncan we found just that. He raised his network, how many people can say that,” Brent Montgomery said.
Located in Stamford’s South End, The Village is designed to serve the needs of entrepreneurs and creators in realms such as art, entertainment, tech, music, health, fitness, food, finance, the digital/influencer worlds and more. It has 133,000 square feet of space with nearly 1,000 feet of walkable marina.
