- By Pat Tomlinson

STAMFORD — A fourth teenager has been arrested in connection to an armed robbery earlier in October in the city’s South End where a 51-year-old man was shot, according to police.

Police arrested a 14-yearold Stamford boy on Thursday for his alleged role in an armed robbery in the 600 block of Pacific Street around 2:30 a.m. Oct. 1.

The teen was charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit second-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit first-degree assault. He was remanded to custody at the Bridgeport Juvenile Detention Center.

Capt. Richard Conklin said the teen was one of five individuals who approached a 51-year-old man and demanded his cash at gunpoint.

The man told police that when he refused, the group members attacked him, stole his money and then shot him in the arm before fleeing the scene, according to Conklin.

So far, police have made four arrests tied to the incident.

Days after the shooting, police arrested a 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl, both Stamford residents, for their alleged connection to the robbery

The 15-year-old teen, who is believed by police to be the shooter, was charged with first-degree assault, firstdegree robbery, conspiracy at first-degree assault, conspiracy at first-degree robbery, carrying a pistol without a permit, unlawful discharge of a firearm and second-degree larceny.

The female teenager, like the 14-year-old teen arrested Thursday, was charged with conspiracy to commit firstdegree robbery, conspiracy to commit second-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit first-degree assault.

On Oct. 19, a third individual — a 17-year-old Stamford man — was arrested for his alleged role in planning the robbery.

That teenager was charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree assault, second-degree larceny, conspiracy at first-degree assault and conspiracy at firstdegree robbery. He was held on $50,000 bond and remanded to the custody of the Bridgeport Juvenile Detention Center, as were the two teens arrested before him.
