TOP PERFORMANC­ES

Marissa Nudd, Bacon Academy: Nudd had 29 points and 14 rebounds as Bacon won a 56-55 thriller over Ledyard, clinching the ECC Division-II regular-season title.

Grace Lurz, Cheshire: The senior guard had 32 points, including six 3-pointers during a 63-56 loss at Lauralton Hall.

Maddie Donaldson, New Canaan: Donaldson scored 21 points in the Rams’ win over Bridgeport Central.

Kenzie Sirowich, Seymour: Sirowich stayed hot with another double-double, scoring 29 points with 14 rebounds, also adding three assists, three steals and two blocks, as Seymour beat Torrington 64-46.

Amani Abuhatab, West Haven: In three wins last week, the junior had 19 points, 12 rebounds, four steals, three blocks and two assists against Shelton; then she had her second triple-double of the season with 19 points, 15 rebounds and 10 steals against Amistad and wrapped up her week with 18 points, 10 rebounds and three steals in a win over Cheshire.

Kassidy Carrano, West Haven: Carrano had a pretty great week herself. She had 18 points, five rebounds, three steals over Shelton; 20 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals against Amistad and 25 points, seven assists and four rebounds against Cheshire.

Claudia Schneider, Pomperaug: Schneider put up another double-double with 12 points, 21 rebounds, eight steals and five assists in 53-36 win over New Milford.

GAMES TO WATCH

Pomperaug at New Fairfield, Thursday, 7: Pomperaug’s win over Newtown kept them alive for the top spot in the SWC Colonial Division. New Fairfield still has a shot at the top spot in the league.

Trumbull at No. 6 St. Joseph, Friday, 6:15: The annual Coaches vs Cancer game is one of the biggest sporting events between the two crosstown rivals each year. Can the Eagles halt the Cadets 15-game winning streak?

Greenwich at Danbury, Friday, 7: Greenwich has reeled off five-straight wins to get back into the FCIAC playoff race. Danbury is currently the No. 2 team in the FCIAC with just two losses in the league.
