TOP PERFORMERS

Emma Abbazia, Greenwich: The sophomore middie collected 11 goals, two assists and 11 draw controls in the Cardinals’ first three games.

Mallory Bartlett, East Catholic: The midfielder reached a milestone during a 15-7 win over Rocky Hill on Tuesday, scoring seven goals to eclipse 100 goals for her career. She also had two assists in that game, and now has 101 career goals.

Emmi Bison, Valley Regional: Bison netted four goals and had five assists in a 20-5 victory over Morgan on April 13. Rowan Pilon added five goals for Valley.

Bridget Clarke, Glastonbur­y: The senior goalkeeper amassed 20 saves in Glastonbur­y’s 7-5 loss to Daniel Hand on April 2.

Hannah Cross, Weston: The sophomore scored six goals in the Trojans’ 12-6 victory over Pomperaug on Tuesday.

Lauren Delaney, Trumbull: In four games, the senior midfielder collected eight goals, three assists and 30 draw controls. That included a hat trick, assist and seven draw controls in a 13-3 win over Danbury on Saturday, and a hat trick and eight draw controls in a 14-9 win over McMahon on Tuesday.

Kaleigh Harden and Dillyn Patten, New Canaan: The two seniors each scored four goals to help No. 2 New Canaan defeat No. 3 Wilton 14-6 on April 13.

Summer Harrell, Newtown: Harrell collected six goals and a pair of assists in a 14-13 victory over Cheshire on Saturday. The Nighthawks are 6-0 to start the season.

Ava Harris, Cheshire: The junior has 15 points in the Rams’ past two games, both of which resulted in narrow losses to ranked teams. She had four goals and three assists in a 14-13 loss to No. 7 Newtown on Saturday, and five goals and three assists in a 14-12 loss to No. 5 Guilford on Tuesday.

Chloe Humphrey, Darien: The junior scored five goals and was key on draw controls in the top-ranked Blue Wave’s 15-11 victory over No. 2 New Canaan on Tuesday.

Braeden LeBeau, North Branford: LeBeau, a junior, collected 11 points with five goals and six assists as the Thunderbir­ds downed Old Lyme 22-12 last Thursday.

Maddigan Leifer, St. Joseph: Leifer, a senior, had eight points on four goals and four assists as the Cadets defeated Bethel 18-4 on Saturday.

Jayna MacKenzie, Sheehan: MacKenzie scored her 100th career goal during Sheehan’s 17-6 victory over Hamden last Thursday. She had a combined 10 goals and five assists in the last two games, and has 28 goals and six assists in five games so far.

Claire McGeever, Berlin: The Bates commit reached a career milestone when she scored 100th goal in a 19-13 loss to Tolland on Tuesday.

Marena Morales, Tolland: The sophomore had nine goals and one assist in a 19-13 win over Berlin on Tuesday.

Payton Root, Guilford: Root racked up eight points with four goals and four assists as the Grizzlies defeated Cheshire 14-12 in a key SCC contest on Tuesday.

Kaleigh Sommers, Ludlowe: Sommers, a junior, had a hand in seven of the Falcons’ 10 goals, scoring five and assisting on two, during a 10-5 victory over St. Joseph last Thursday.

Olivia Toto, North Branford: The senior scored a gamehigh seven goals and also dished out an assist in a 22-12 win over Old Lyme last Thursday.

Mia Williams, Foran: The senior scored five goals and assisted twice in a 16-3 win over Rockville on Saturday.

GAMES TO WATCH

Garden City (NY) at Darien, Thursday, 4: One of six games against out-of-state opponents for the Blue Wave. Darien is 3-0 in those games so far, which includes a onegoal victory over Victor (NY).

North Branford at Valley Regional, Thursday, 4: Valley Regional is 3-0 to kick off the season, and will get a big test against the defending Shoreline champion Thunderbir­ds, who have five wins in their first six games.

Weston at Newtown, Thursday, 5:30: The two SWC contenders are each unbeaten and are at the top of their respective state class rankings: Newtown in Class L and Weston in Class S.

Cheshire at Daniel Hand, Friday, 5:30: Two of the SCC’s top contenders meet in a Friday night showdown at the Surf Club in Madison. Cheshire won both regularsea­son meetings last year, but Daniel Hand got revenge in the SCC semifinals.

Simsbury at Ludlowe, Saturday, 10: Simsbury visits Fairfield County to take on Ludlowe. The Trojans have

Old Saybrook at Valley Regional, Tuesday, 4: Another Shoreline test for Valley Regional. Old Saybrook was unbeaten during the regular season before finishing as the conference runner-up last spring, and has started this year with six straight victories.

Wilton at Ludlowe, Tuesday, 4: Ludlowe bounced back from an 0-3 start to win its next two heading into Thursday’s action and will face a challenge when it hosts thirdranke­d Wilton.

Weston at Joel Barlow, Tuesday, 4: A huge game for the SWC as defending league champion Barlow hosts last year’s Class S runner-up Weston, which is 6-0.
