GAMES TO WATCH

Norwalk at New Canaan, Tuesday, 4 p.m.: New Canaan is currently sixth and Norwalk seventh in the FCIAC standings. A win here all but locks up one of the eight FCIAC playoff spots while the loser will likely need some help to get in.

Ludlowe at Staples, Wednesday, 4:15 p.m.: Depending on what happens earlier in the week, this could be a win-and-in game for both teams with the loser out of the FCIAC playoffs.

Newtown at No. 7 Barlow, Tuesday, 1 p.m.:

Newtown began the season 1-5 but has turned things around. Barlow needs to win out to earn top seed in SWC tournament.

Watertown at No. 2 St. Paul, Thursday, 4 p.m.:

St. Paul (19-0) is one win away from an unbeaten regular season.

No. 9 Newington at Southington, Friday, 6 p.m.:

Southington missed the Top 10 by two points but a win here would move them back in. Winner also gets a boost in CIAC Class LL rankings.
