Meet Daniel Chandler
Fort Myers Firefighter of the Year
Daniel Chandler is the 2016 Distinguished Firefighter of the Year, an award given to an individual selected by his or her peers for “a highly credible accomplishment or outstanding service.” Chandler had assisted a possible drowning victim in northern Florida, is credited with other off-duty bravery. He received a $2,500 award from the George and Mary Jo Sanders Foundation.
