Antonio Lee “Tony” Byers, 69, lifelong Guymon resident, passed away Friday, October 9, 2020 at his home.

The son of Eddie Jr. and Elenora Bianca (Amabile) Byers, he was born December 24, 1950 in Liberal, Kansas. Tony attended school in Guymon, and attended the Nazarene Church and Panhandle Bible Center.

Tony worked in the oilfield the majority of his working life. He was active in Guymon sports and was an avid supporter of all school sports.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Kim; daughter, Angela Marie and sister, Tina Marie Martin.

Survivors include three children: Peaches Parker and husband, Scott of Guymon, Nicolas Antonio Byers of Guymon and Carey Byers of Woodward, Oklahoma; sisters: Dana Tomlinson and husband, Tommy of Guymon, Tana Pauldino of Denver, Colorado; brothers: Poke Byers and wife, Mary Gail of Tellico Plains, Tennessee and Mike Byers and wife, Susan of Guymon. Survivors also include eleven grandchild­ren: Kaybre, Alexander, Waylon, Costin, Ava, Tino, Moriah, Josiah, Edie, Kimbre and Nicolas Barton; two great grandchild­ren: Kimbella Marie and Major Loren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted Friday afternoon, October 16th at 2:00 p.m. at the Connection Church with Rev. Odie Nunley and Jeremiah Mallard officiatin­g.

Memorials in memory of Tony may be given to help with final expenses. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
