Anthony Dean “Tony” Depriest, 84, longtime Guymon resident, passed away Friday afternoon, December 4, 2020 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas.

The son of Donald and Ruth Depriest, he was born July 24, 1936 in Monett, Missouri. Tony attended Plains, Kansas school, graduating with the class of 1954. He then proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.

Tony and Flossie “Flo” Suel were united in marriage on September 19, 1966 in Raton, New Mexico. They made their home in Guymon in 1967, moving here from Plains.

Tony had worked as a truck driver in his younger years and then worked for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline, retiring in the early 1990’s. He was a member of the First Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Flo on May 10, 2005.

Survivors include his three daughters: Donna Weaver of Arlington, Texas, Sharon Predmore and husband, Tim of Elkhart, Kansas and Tammy Kolenchenk­o of Flagstaff, Arizona; two sons: Tim Laubhon of Havasue, Arizona and Darrin Depriest and wife, Sarah of Midwest City, Oklahoma; numerous grandchild­ren and great grandchild­ren; and two sisters: Barbara Malone of Meade, Kansas and Rosella Brooks of Childress, Texas.

There will be a visitation on Wednesday evening, December 9th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.at the funeral home. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon, December 10th at 2:00 p.m. at the Elmhurst Cemetery with Pastor Craig Shepperd officiatin­g. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
