North Park Elementary Students of the Week
Tyler Bond is the 5th grade Student of the Week at North Park Elementary School. She is the daughter of Jason and Melissa Bond. She is the granddaughter of Larry and Jane Whitford, Gary and Phyllis Garrison, Willis and Pat Freisen, and Joe and Dot Cruz. Her teachers said, “Tayler takes it upon herself to take care of everyone. She makes sure no one is left out. Taylor has a great sense of humor and is dependable. Her positivity shines throughout the day!” When asked her feelings in regards to her selection she replied, “I am very thankful and appreciative that my teachers selected me for this honor.” Her favorite book is The Last Dogs. She is a member of the Superintendent’s Honor Roll as well as the Principal’s Honor Roll. Taylor is involved in Girl Scouts, Kids Inc. soccer, volleyball
and softball as well as Carol and Junior Choir at church. Away from school she enjoys playing with her dog Murphy, spending time with her family and friends and playing soccer. Her future plan is to become a K-9 police officer.
Kiara Tiniguar Tum is the 6th grade Student of the Week at North Park Elementary School. She is the daughter of Santiago-Tiniguar and Victoria Tiniguar as well as the granddaughter of Maria Riguiac and Sebastian Tiniguar. Her teachers stated, “Kiara is a very bright student that is not afraid to speak up. She is kind with her peers and a great classroom helper. We all enjoy having her in our classes.” When she was asked her feelings in regards to her selection she replied, “I am thankful that I was selected as I always try to be the best I can be!” Her favorite book is Percy Jackson the Titans Curse. Away from school she likes to spend time with her family and read. The person she admires most is her piano teacher and would like to be as good as she is someday.
