Joyce Elaine Bryant, 78, local Guymon businesswo­man, passed away Sunday afternoon, Sept. 5, 2021, at the Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas.

The daughter of Rayburn and Agnes (Watson) Hall, she was born Feb. 19, 1943, in Shamrock, Texas. Joyce moved to Guymon from Perryton, Texas in 1967.

Joyce and Eugene Bryant were united in marriage June 17, 1972 in Guymon. Since the early 1970s they owned and operated Quality Cleaners in Guymon.

Joyce was a member of the East Side Church of Christ. She was an active bowler, and operated the Guymon Lanes for several years. She was a member of the Women’s Bowling Associatio­n and was a Girl Scout Leader for several years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene on Jan. 10, 2020; son, Todd Caudell in April of 2021; one sister, Gayle Caudell; and two brothers, Curtis and Bruce Hall.

Survivors include two daughters, Tammy Chase and husband, Curtis of Mayflower, Arkansas, and Pamela Roberts of Guymon. Survivors also include six grandchild­ren: Shanna, Kirby, Jarod, Natalie, Katie and Mollie, ten great grandchild­ren, one sister, Myrtis Jones of Pampa, Texas, one brother, Gerald Hall and wife, Sue of Amarillo, Texas, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon September 13th at 1:00 p.m. at the Elmhurst Cemetery with Brandon Dukes officiatin­g. Visitation will be Sunday, September 12th between the hours of 2:00 and 6:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home.

Memorials in memory of Joyce may be given to the American Diabetes Associatio­n or Charity of Choice. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, PO Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
