Goldie Stump, 101-year-old Guymon, Oklahoma resident went to her heavenly home Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021, at the home of her son.

Goldie Launa Randles was born in Hardesty, Oklahoma on Sept. 11, 1920, to John Howard and Edith May (Pierce) Randles. Goldie attended the Hardesty Public Schools graduating with the class of 1937. After graduation Goldie attended Panhandle A&M for two years.

On Aug. 15, 1939, she married Wayne Stump. To this union they were blessed with four children. The family moved as Wayne was promoted through his work at Panhandle Eastern. The family lived in Hardesty, Oklahoma and Sunray, Texas and finally settling in Guymon, Oklahoma. Wayne passed away on Nov. 23, 1983.

Goldie enjoyed many hobbies during her life including gardening, an expert seamstress and crocheting. She was well known for making scrubbies. Goldie was a 50-year member of the Guymon Homemakers Extension club. She was a Pink Lady volunteer for many years at the hospital in Guymon. She was a member of Martha’s Circle at the Nazarene Church in Guymon.

Goldie was a deeply religious woman, and her family was the thing that brought her the most happiness.

Goldie was preceded by her parents, husband Wayne, four sisters; Lola Fox, Alpha Evans, Evelyn Gebhart and Vera Faries, one brother; Jim Randles, one granddaugh­ter; Kaci Ronne and one grandson David Stump.

Left to continue her legacy are two daughters; Deena Reid and husband John of Guymon, Oklahoma and Sharon Flowers and husband David of Seaford, Virginia, two sons; Stanley Stump and wife Jeanette of Guymon, Oklahoma and Larry Stump and wife Gloria of Guymon, Oklahoma, Eight grandchild­ren and twenty-eight great-grandchild­ren and one great-great grandson.

Visitation will be held 4 p.m. till 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021, at Henson-Novak Funeral Home in Guymon with the family being present from 6 p.m.. till 8 p.m. to great friends and guests.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021, at the Nazarene Church in Guymon with Reverend Odie Nunley and Pastor Craig Shepperd officiatin­g.

Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon, Oklahoma.
