Have you ever heard of Sugar Shop Guymon?

Sugar Shop Guymon is co-owned by two young women named Rachel and Helen. The duo started their business earlier this year on July 17.

“Our business started out by accident really. I (Helen) had baked some baby apple pies and took some extras down to the girls at Fisch and Hitch when Camra suggested I start selling them at the Farmers Market here in town. The next day I registered for the market and asked Rachel if she could help me bake. We sold out that first Saturday and everyone just kept coming back for more week after week. Everyone kept asking if we had a business name or a Facebook page and we truly hadn't thought that far ahead.

However, we ended coming up with Sugar Shop Guymon, making a Facebook page and then almost over night we started a whole business with the help of our wonderful community who have continued to support us,” Helen, co-owner of Sugar Shop Guymon said.

In just a few months, from July to October, these two girls and their business went from baking for themselves to selling scrumptious treats for everyone to try.

“Our treats and goodies are homemade from scratch and packaged in eco friendly packaging. Come support your local small businesses not only to help out the community but because our treats are delicious,” Helen and Rachel, co-owners of Sugar Shop Guymon, said.

Sugar Shop Guymon makes everything from scratch and uses fresh ingredients and produce for every treat. Their products are also packaged in eco-friendly material.

“We have all sorts of new goodies coming soon! We love trying new things and having a variety to choose from. We make new things based on the seasons and we also make traditional Cuban treats,” Helen and Rachel said.
