Brushy Creek Reservoir Report

May 24. Elevation is Normal (stable), water temperatur­e 65°F and stained. Catfish, Blue, Catfish, Channel, Catfish, Flathead Fair on chicken liver, cut bait, hot dogs, shad, worms around below the dam, coves, shallows, shorelines.

Bass, Striped, Bass, White Fair on flukes, in-line spinnerbai­ts, sassy shad, small lures around below the dam, shallows, shorelines.

Crappie, Black, Crappie, White Fair on hair jigs, in-line spinnerbai­ts, minnows, small lures, worms around below the dam, brush structure, shallows, shorelines.

Comments: High water continues to create access issues and boating hazards. Boaters and swimmers should use caution at all times around the lake in this condition.
