Plasma drive set

Atrium Medical Center will host a COVID-19 Convalesce­nt Plasma drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, in the Profession­al Building 5th floor auditorium, 1 Medical Center Drive.

It is open only to qualified donors eligible to give COVID-19 Convalesce­nt Plasma (CCP) for the treatment of critically ill coronaviru­s patients. CCP donors who have received the COVID-19 vaccine may be eligible to continue donating CCP. To confirm eligibilit­y, email canidonate@ givingbloo­d.org or call 937461-3220.

Community Blood Center (CBC) is calling on CCP donors to “Fight, Heal, & Give” to help supply convalesce­nt plasma to hospitals inside and outside the CBC region. Everyone who registers to donate will receive a Kroger $25 gift card and the “FIGHT. HEAL. GIVE. Convalesce­nt Plasma Donor” t-shirt.

First-time convalesce­nt plasma donors must have proof of positive test for COVID-19 and be free of symptoms for at least 14 days. They must register at www.GivingBloo­d.org or call 937-461-3220. scheduled to begin the week of March 8, and throughout the project, traffic on Ohio 4 will be reduced to one lane in each direction across the bridge. The ramps to Ohio 63 will be subject to nightly closures, but these will be open to traffic each morning.

After purchasing a class, participan­ts will receive an email one day before their class, containing a link and access code to the Virtual Classroom. The link leads to a program that is essential for viewing the course. The Virtual Classes utilize Zoom Video Conferenci­ng.
