The Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park & Museum Annual Meeting will be held at 4 p.m. April 24 at the outdoor Grand Pavilion, 1763 Hamilton Cleves Road. All members are invited and encouraged to attend.

Bring a non-member friend, and they can join on site. It is a time to hear about how the park has coped with the coronaviru­s, about the new Fortified Hill acquisitio­n, and about the plans for the park beyond COVID.

The annual meeting is the time to elect board members. If anyone is interested in serving on the board, they are invited to contact the president of the board, Nanci Lanni, by January, 2022, for informatio­n and to be considered for the 2022 class of Trustees. Nomination­s will not be accepted from the floor.

There will be music, food, performati­ve art to be enjoyed, so come early and experience art in nature. Masks are encouraged while being under the Grand Pavilion.

The Power of the Purse (POP) Fund is a women’s giving circle dedicated to strengthen­ing the community by providing grant funds to non-profit organizati­ons serving the interests of women and children in West Chester and Liberty

Townships. Members of POP work to educate and inspire others, and promote philanthro­py among women in the community.

POP accepts grant requests for new or existing projects that focus of meeting the basic needs of food, shelter, or health care for women or children in West Chester and Liberty Township.

The POP membership will review all proposals in April. Following a vote by the POP membership, the top three organizati­ons will be invited to present their proposal at the POP summer meeting. The grant recipient will be announced at the Annual Grant Gala in December.

NAMI Butler County announces registrati­on for a new Family to Family class from April 6 through May 25, via Zoom. The classes are

from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

Clovernook Center for the Blind & Visually Impaired announced it will host its first ever virtual event, BOLDLY BVI: LIVE. WORK. PLAY, at 2 p.m. April 10. This free event is geared towards blind and visually impaired (BVI) students and those that care for them, including parents and teachers.

BOLDLY BVI is a virtual event at the heart of Clovernook Center’s mission, to enrich the lives of people who are blind or visually impaired by developing the skills necessary to lead active, productive and independen­t lives. BOLDLY BVI will encompass three sections, LIVE. WORK. and PLAY., that will feature speakers who are blind or visually impaired who will share their personal stories and lessons they’ve learned to engage and inspire the next generation of BVI leaders in our communitie­s.

Each section will be educationa­l, interestin­g and fun for everyone attending. Guest speakers during the event are blind and visually impaired

adults with inspiratio­n and learning to share with the next generation.
