The Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park & Museum Annual Meeting will be held at 4 p.m. April 24 at the outdoor Grand Pavilion, 1763 Hamilton Cleves Road. All members are invited and encouraged to attend.
Bring a non-member friend, and they can join on site. It is a time to hear about how the park has coped with the coronavirus, about the new Fortified Hill acquisition, and about the plans for the park beyond COVID.
The annual meeting is the time to elect board members. If anyone is interested in serving on the board, they are invited to contact the president of the board, Nanci Lanni, by January, 2022, for information and to be considered for the 2022 class of Trustees. Nominations will not be accepted from the floor.
There will be music, food, performative art to be enjoyed, so come early and experience art in nature. Masks are encouraged while being under the Grand Pavilion.

The Power of the Purse (POP) Fund is a women’s giving circle dedicated to strengthening the community by providing grant funds to non-profit organizations serving the interests of women and children in West Chester and Liberty

Townships. Members of POP work to educate and inspire others, and promote philanthropy among women in the community.
POP accepts grant requests for new or existing projects that focus of meeting the basic needs of food, shelter, or health care for women or children in West Chester and Liberty Township.
The POP membership will review all proposals in April. Following a vote by the POP membership, the top three organizations will be invited to present their proposal at the POP summer meeting. The grant recipient will be announced at the Annual Grant Gala in December.

from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

Clovernook Center for the Blind & Visually Impaired announced it will host its first ever virtual event, BOLDLY BVI: LIVE. WORK. PLAY, at 2 p.m. April 10. This free event is geared towards blind and visually impaired (BVI) students and those that care for them, including parents and teachers.
BOLDLY BVI is a virtual event at the heart of Clovernook Center’s mission, to enrich the lives of people who are blind or visually impaired by developing the skills necessary to lead active, productive and independent lives. BOLDLY BVI will encompass three sections, LIVE. WORK. and PLAY., that will feature speakers who are blind or visually impaired who will share their personal stories and lessons they’ve learned to engage and inspire the next generation of BVI leaders in our communities.
Each section will be educational, interesting and fun for everyone attending. Guest speakers during the event are blind and visually impaired
adults with inspiration and learning to share with the next generation.

Equipped with advanced imaging equipment, the coach offers traditional 2D and Genius 3D Mammography technology to detect breast cancer.
Like all Premier Health care sites, the mobile mammography coach is utilizing strict cleaning and sanitation practices. All rooms and equipment are cleaned continually. All staff are following Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines for hand hygiene and use of masks and additional personal protective equipment (PPE), as appropriate.

“Be The Good” by donating Good Friday, April 2 at the Dayton Community Blood Center to help keep the region’s blood supply strong through the Easter holiday weekend.
The “Be The Good” Blood Drive is from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at the Dayton CBC, 349 S.
