Beginning Monday, crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Butler County maintenance facility will be replacing a culvert on Ohio 748, north of Cherry Street at the 0.48-mile marker.
During closure, traffic will be detoured via Ohio 126 and Ohio 129, and the road will be open to traffic on April 28.

■ I-71 Interchange Construction - Construction of an on-ramp from southbound Mason-Montgomery Road to I-71 South, and the ramp is now open to traffic. Bridge construction continues on Fields Ertel Road, and intermittent lane restrictions could be in effect within the project zone. All work is scheduled to be completed in early summer.
■ I-71 Culvert Preservation - Replacement of a headwall and the outlet of a small culvert and regrading the embankment along I-71, just south of the Ohio 48 interchange. Single-lane and shoulder restrictions will be in effect on I-71 North and South daily from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. through early May as weather permits. All work is scheduled to be completed in the fall.
■ Ohio 48/122 Resurfacing - Pavement repair and resurfacing project on Ohio 122, between Ohio 123 and Ohio 48, and on Ohio 48, from the Clermont County line to just north of Foster-Maineville Road and from Portland Boulevard, north of Miller Road, to Ohio 73 at Waynesville. Single-lane restrictions will be in effect on Ohio 48 just north of Schlottman Road for guardrail and shoulder work, and traffic will be maintained with temporary signals through early May. The entire project is scheduled to be completed in November.
■ Ohio 123/Settlemire Road Culvert Replacement - On Settlemire Road at its junction with Ohio 123. Settlemire Road will be closed through Friday at Ohio 123, and traffic will be detoured by way of Jack Road and Stubbs Mill Road.
■ U.S. 22 (Montgomery Road) Signalization - On Montgomery Road, between the Hertz Drive/I-275 interchange signal in Hamilton County to Landen Drive in Warren County. Installation of a flashing yellow arrow signal system along the corridor. Traffic will be maintained during construction as crews progress eastward along the route through the spring and early summer. The existing signals will continue to operate in standard stop-and-go fashion; however, traffic may be maintained with the use of flaggers as needed during crews’ work hours. All work is scheduled for completion in late summer.
