WHO: Editor-at-large of the Random House imprint Ballantine Bantam Dell. WARDROBE CHANGE: “I was so happy when my friend, Beth Buccini, opened a Kirna Zabête (66 Newtown Lane, East Hampton, 631-527-5794; kirnazabete.com) in East Hampton last summer. I can find everything from a Zimmerman summer dress to a Gucci skirt I’ll wear in the city.” BE FRESH: “I love Halsey Farm (513 Deerfield Road, Water Mill, 631-726-4833; halseyfarm.com) for its fresh produce. The real reason I go is for their dill pickles. I can’t explain in words how good they are.” FOLD YOUR HAND: “There’s nothing like a movie and Sam’s (36 Newtown Lane, East Hampton, 631-3245900; samseathampton.com) for pizza on a Sunday night. I usually order the Sam’s special.” HARD WORK: “I live in Southampton and drive all the way to East Hampton to work out. That’s only because there’s an AKT in Motion there (3 Railroad Ave., East Hampton, 631527-5447; aktinmotion.com). I take the Happy Hour class, which is a mix of high-impact dance and strength training.”
