WATERMILL CENTER BENEFIT

On July 29, a star-studded crowd of more than 1,000 guests joined Robert Wilson and The Watermill Center in celebration of “Fly Into the Sun,” the Foundation’s 24th annual Summer Benefit & Auction. Presented for the first time by famed French high-jewelry maison Van Cleef & Arpels, the sold-out event honored Laurie Anderson and Isabelle Huppert in tribute to the late musician Lou Reed. Over 20 site-specific works and performances were positioned throughout the 8.5-acre grounds, and all proceeds benefit the Center’s year-round artist residency and education program
